WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA

CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF KENDAL DISTRICT OF SOUTH LAKELAND) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER (NO 3)2017

On 2 August 2019 the above named Order was confirmed, with modifications, by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

The effect of the Order is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding a 2 metre length of public footpath at Lumley Road Kendal at grid reference 350844 491186 at the gap in the wall where it meets Stonecross Road. The width of the new path will be I metre. A copy of the confirmed Order and map may be inspected free of charge at Kendal library, Stricklandgate, Kendal and the offices of the Countryside Access Team, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle CA6 4SJ (ref 5.2.314). Copies of the Order may be purchased at a cost of £2 per A4 sheet and 0 per A3 sheet Alternatively contact

The Order come into force immediately, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, within 6 weeks from 15 August 2019 make an application to the High Court Chief Legal Officer
