BUTLER Barbara Gill and family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for all the cards, flowers, donations received for St. Mary's Hospice and messages of sympathy following the very sad passing of Barbara. Many thanks to the district nurses and the consultants, doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff of Furness General Hospital, Rosemere Cancer Centre & Gynaecology Department at Preston and Dr Johnston & partners in Ulverston. Also, very special thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff of St. Mary's Hospice for enabling Barbara to spend her last few weeks in peace and comfort and in beautiful surroundings. Thank you to Funeral Director, Heather Wright of Coop Funeralcare for her empathy and the very caring funeral arrangements made easy in such difficult times. Finally, many thanks to Stuart Matthews, the Celebrant for compiling the most beautiful and fitting tribute to Barbara, as we said our final goodbyes.
