BAMFORTH Sheila Lilian The family of Sheila Bamforth wish to thank all the staff at Risedale St. Luke's and previously St. Cuthberts and at Lakeland Care prior to that. The care and nursing given to Sheila at her home and then in her residential nursing home was excellent. We have lost a very caring person: as a former nurse, midwife and health visitor, she was always treated with great respect, which is something that we were all very appreciative of. Thank you to the friends and family who attended Thorncliffe Crematorium last Friday and a special thank you to the Reverend Martin Williams for the beautiful service, which was a fitting tribute to Sheila. Thanks must also go to Pam of Little & Caine who organised the funeral so well. Finally, the family intend to have a meet up with all friends and family, when the current restrictions are lifted, to celebrate Sheila's life.
