JONES Allan Pat and her children Chris, Bev, Paddy and Maggie extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped them during their heartbreaking loss of Allan. My children are my strength. A special mention for: Father Paul, his compassion shone through his ministrations despite being injured in an accident, Chris Doyle who supports me in my darkest hours, Members of Catholic Women's League who prayed constantly for Allan. Our Dalton and Barrow family who were at my side. Stella for the beautiful flowers, cakes and scones. Dave for being my chauffeur Cllr. Amanda Rigg for doing my shopping and 'keeping her eye on me'. The Ulverston Isolation group who kept feeding me. All the many friends we have from the area, too numerous to mention and especially the amazing staff of F.G.H Wards 4 and 7 who tried tirelessly to keep Allan alive and whose devotion to all their patients was evident in the unstinting care they gave them. Respiratory Nurse Fiona Benson who stayed with me as Allan peacefully slipped away. Also to the staff at Co-op Funeralcare.
