BURCH Mr Samuel 'Sam' Deborah, Lindsay, Alice and Matthew would like to acknowledge and offer sincere thanks for the multiple gestures of kindness shown to all of us following our sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to family, friends and neighbours for all of their support during Dad's (Grandad's) short illness and thereafter. Thank you for the many cards, floral tributes, messages of condolences and charitable donations. Thank you to the Reverend Doreen Harrison for her comforting words and beautiful funeral service. We personally thank each and everyone who contributed to the overwhelming attendance in church and paid their respects which left us feeling incredibly proud. A special thank you to Lakeland carers, staff nurses and HCA's of Ward 9 at Furness General Hospital for all of their care, support and kindness respectfully shown at all times. Thank you to the hardworking Helen and team at The Old Mill, Bardsea who provided wonderful refreshments. Lastly a special thank you to Anthony Clarke for his personal and professional handling of all funeral arrangements."
