DR. COLIN BUTTERFIELD

BUTTERFIELD Dr Colin Penhale Aged 80 years, passed away peacefully in the loving care of St George's at North Lonsdale Care Home on the 19th January 2022. Beloved husband of Jennifer and loving father of Simon, Sarah and the late Ben and treasured grandad to our grandchildren. A close friend to many, who will be sadly missed. Friends please meet for a service on Monday 31st January at 10.45am at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Family flowers only please, or donations if so desired for the RNLI (Barrow Branch) may be sent via the Little & Caine website. All enquiries to Little & Caine, 48 Ulverston Road, Dalton. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Colin was my dentist for many years and was a lovely fun loving man. He always made me laugh even though I was a very nervous patient. I will never forget one of his stories about a camping trip you had been on which had been particularly wet that he described in a very colourful Colin way! I nearly choked as I had a mouthful of instruments at the time! I know you will all miss him very much and am sending you all my deepest sympathy.
