BATTEN Alwyn On November 13th, peacefully in hospital after a short illness, Alwyn Joan (nee Connor), aged 63 years of Travellers Lodge, Ulpha, beloved wife of Paul, much loved sister of Janet. The funeral service will be held on Thursday 3rd December at 10.00 am at Holy Trinity Church, Seathwaite, followed by cremation at Beetham Hall Crematorium at 12.30 pm. Please note that the number attending is strictly limited to 30 people. Family flowers only; donations in lieu towards the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal may be sent to Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd, Lapstone Road, Millom. Tel 772295.
