GARSIDE Edith On 15th October peacefully in St. George's Nursing Home, aged 101 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph, much loved mum of Dianne and a dear nana of John. Private funeral service to take place at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Family flowers only please donations if so desired to St. George's Amenities Fund. We always thought Edie would last forever (and she nearly did!) She always was able to help with problem's and always had a smile for you. they don't make them like Edie any more. Will not be forgotten. Ken Burton(councillor 1999-2007).
