SHIMMIN Edna (nee Rhodes) Aged 89 years of Rakesmoor Lane, Barrow. Passed away peacefully on the 6th November 2019 at Furness General Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Harry. Much loved mam of Graham and the late Keith and mother-in-law of Lynda. Treasured and devoted nana to Stephanie, Nicky and Gary, and a great-nana. A dear sister, aunty and good friend to many, who will be very sadly missed. Friends please meet for a service to celebrate Edna's life on Thursday 14th November at 11.30am at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Family flowers only please, or donations if so desired for Leukaemia UK, may be left at the service or sent c/o Little & Caine, 1-3 Dalkeith Street, Barrow. Tel: 820747.
