BARROW Raiders have taken part in 'really physical' opposed session ahead of their Toulouse clash.
Paul Crarey's Raiders travel to the Stade Ernest-Wallon to take on Toulouse Olympique XIII in their latest Betfred Championship fixture on Saturday, May 18.
The Raiders come into the game level on points with the French side and could leapfrog them with victory in South-West France.
Ahead of this clash, Crarey's side have stepped up their preparations with an opposed training session with Barrow Island ARLFC with the Raiders' boss thanking their fellow locals for the 'really physical' session.
He said: "We had a good session.
"It is a bit of a smaller track so it was good for us to play direct rather than try and get round teams and they put up a good effort.
"They trained really well and we had a really physical session so credit to them for taking part.
"We always go well and enjoy coming up against different sides and full credit to Barrow Island for inviting us here and letting us use their great facilities."
