Volunteers are hoping that they can make Barrow's town centre a much greener place next week.
The team at Barrow Business Improvement District is working in partnership with Westmorland and Furness Council to 'spruce up' the area.
The day of planting will take place from 10am on Thursday, May 23 starting at Barrow Town Hall and will see the introduction of plenty of greenery and flowers - and you can get help make it happen.
A spokesperson from Barrow BID said: "No experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm!
"We'll provide all the materials and guidance you need to fill a beautiful hanging basket or planter - plus, it's a great opportunity to meet new people and make a positive impact in our community."
Free refreshments will be provided on the day for all those who get involved and show off their green fingers.
