Northern will be running an extended service to help support the upcoming Dave Day event.
On June 8, to celebrate the life of Dave Myers, thousands of people will be coming to his home town of Barrow.

And, whilst most of the visitors will be arriving via motorbike, the train company is playing its part to ensure as many people as possible can join in with the festivities.

On the day, Northern services will be running at additional capacity to help manage the expected increase in travellers.
The town hall, which will be the centre of the majority of celebrations, is then just a short walk away from Barrow station.
