A project to teach people how to restore old bikes is set to return to Ulverston after losing its base at the town's library.
Thanks to umbrella charity Community Solutions, The Ulverston Bike Project will soon have a base of operations to resume its work.
Since 2018 the initiative has offered young people and adults the opportunity to volunteer and learn new skills in restoring old bikes and giving them a new lease of life.
The result is nearly three tonnes of waste material being diverted from landfill each year and making it easier for anyone to afford to own a bike - or to have crucial transport for work.
An Ulverston Bike Project page spokesperson said: "Not only did we sell bikes at affordable prices to raise funds for charity, but we also gifted bikes to some of our most vulnerable members of the community.
"We sadly lost our base of operations last year at Ulverston Library, but we will soon be announcing our new plans and bringing all of these benefits and more back to our community.
"Thank you for your patience and we look forward to updating you soon."
