A group based in Ulverston was able to provide £8,000 to various charities across last year.
The Ulverston Rotary Club shared the total on Sunday, March 10, to keep the community informed who they have been helping with the donations.
They said: "If you have ever wondered - whether you see us shaking buckets, doing the human fruit machine or the Santa runs - what we do with the money, then you should know we gave £8,000 to various organisations in 2023."
Local beneficiaries included Age Concern Ulverston, Alzheimer's Society Furness, Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue, Furness Prostate Cancer, Furness Refugees Group, Mind in Furness, and Ulverston Inshore Rescue.
National organisations benefitting from the club's work included Asthma UK, British Red Cross, Dementia UK, Dogs Trust, MacMillan Cancer Care, NSPCC, and the RNLI.
The rotary club finished by thanking residents for their continued support, with another year of fundraising already underway.
