A MAN was arrested after allegedly eating meals and not paying for them in establishments across a town.
Cumbria Police were contacted at 10.10pm yesterday (March 7) regarding a man alleged to have eaten a meal and not paid for it as Tesco in Millom.
He was also alleged to have committed similar offences at other establishments in the area.
Officers arrested a 32-year-old man from the Newcastle area on suspicion of theft. He was arrested at around 11.20pm.
The force reported the man was in police custody this morning (March 8).
