Willy Wonka proved to be a big inspiration for children across Barrow and Furness for World Book Day.
On Thursday, we asked our readers to send in the best photos of their children getting dressed up for the occasion and they did not disappoint.
In fact, there were so many Wonka-inspired outfits that we decided to create a gallery especially for them.
The region was full of chocolate entrepreneurs and a whole assortment of Oompa Loompas.
And, whether the kids were inspired by the recent Timothee Chalamat remake, the Johnny Depp version, the Gene Wilder original, the Road Dahl classic - or even the recent Glasgow experience - there were all sorts of costumes on show.
Take a look at the best we spotted in the gallery above.
