A club in Barrow is hoping to provide an avenue for young girls to get into football.
Barrow Celtic Football Club announced earlier this week that they were once again recruiting for new kids to join their teams.
In particular, they are interested in children joining their under-12 and under-13 girls sides.
Danielle Garnett said: "We'd love to see some new joiners - the girls are lovely and really enjoy their games and sessions."
The club meets on every Wednesday evening from 5:00pm at Furness College just off Ironworks Road.
With the likes of Georgia Stanway representing just how far women from Barrow can go in the sport, the team is hopeful that more girls than ever will be inspired to try football for the very first time.
