A COMEDY club that became famous for platforming comedians from all sides of the political divide is coming to Millom as part of a UK tour.
Comedy Unleashed is a club that started in London, and calls itself 'the home of free-thinking comedy.' It became recognised for advocating freedom of speech, and featuring comedians from across the political divide and across a broad range of backgrounds.
In a video put on its website, comedians said that they felt free to talk about topics that they would hold themselves back from at other clubs, and did not have to 'self-censor.'
Comedy Unleashed will be coming to the Beggars Theatre in Millom on October 14, with tickets costing £20.
The show will feature Tony Burgess, Tania Edwards and Chris McGlade.
Tony Burgess wrote sitcom 'The Visit' which was featured on BBC1 and BBC3.
Tania Edwards was featured on 'Mock the Week', and 'Twit of the Year' and Chris McGlade became famous for his 'Forgiveness' tour.
