A COMEDIAN who went viral for his fearless antics is set to return to town on his elevated tour.
Comedian, Frankie Allen will be coming to The Forum, Barrow on Saturday, February 19 and is ready to ‘terrify’ the audience as he aims to he aims to pick on and savage everybody in the audience
Frankie said: “The audience can expect to be terrified, because I will be picking and savaging everybody.
“That’s what makes me different to any other comedians, I’m right on top of the crowd and I interact with them all the time.
“It puts the audience on edge, you seem to get a higher level of laughter as I’m trying to scare the laugher out of them.
“By doing the material I do and pushing the boat out I’ve gained a real following from the younger generation because they’ve never seen a comedian like me, I’m really selling to them.”
Working class comedian, Frankie has been creating many belly laughs in Barrow for 40 years now, commonly visiting social clubs, labour clubs and pubs in the area, but this comedy found in these venues has been replaced by comedy clubs where that genre of comedy doesn’t exist anymore.
When Frankie went viral online in 2018 from a video at one of his performances his profile elevated, and he started doing bigger venues.
Last year he wowed audiences with his humour, now he is scaling up again for 2022 which the Forum is part of, this means higher production quality all around and nothing like anyone in the area has seen before.
He said: “I’m excited to get back into Barrow and perform at their most established venue.
“Barrow is a great crowd, they like having a laugh, they aren’t sensitive, and they don’t mind if you pick on them, they’re down to earth.
The show is expected to be a sell out, however, tickets are still on sale for Frankie Allen ‘The UK’s most feared comedian’ but they’re anticipated to sell out fast.
