LIVE music is back at Fell Foot with the four-day event Deep In This Wood.

A wild camping weekend from Thursday September 21 to Sunday 24 features an optional evening of entertainment on the Saturday night.

Three very different acts will appear in the barn stage, at the over-18s only concert.

Female doom trio Dark Mother bring their dark and sludgy live set to the venue, set among the woods overlooking the shores of Windermere, near Newby Bridge.

The Nottingham-based outfit - primarily based around its two founder members, but usually found performing live with a guest bassist - only have a demo and a split single release to their name, though they have played shows all over the UK and shared the stage with high-profile acts such as Jucifer and Geist.

They will be joined by Deepshade - a Wigan-based stoner rock act.

It will be their third visit to Fell Foot in three years, performing their live set that gives nods to Nirvana, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Alice In Chains, as well as incorporating influences from The Doors and even Beck.

In almost four years together, they have established a loyal following throughout the North West with their explosive live shows, as well as gaining airplay support from BBC Introducing and a plethora of alternative radio stations within the UK, EU and USA.

Mystical live act BAAB complete the bill for the evening. Drawing heavily on Scandinavian heritage, the masked band's music combines hard-driving rock and pulsing rhythms with traditional folk tunes.

Camping is available for all three nights or individually, and tickets for the live show are available on the doors for non-campers.
