MASTER magician and stand-up comedian Pete Firman will be bringing his brand-new tour to Cumbria later this month.
The leading light on hit BBC show The Magicians, he is regarded as one of the world's great all-round entertainers.
On Friday September 30 he brings the new tour, Trix, to The Forum, in Barrow, ahead of his appearance on ITV's primetime programme The Next Great Magician.
A unique evening of entertainment that is as much set on being side-splittingly funny as it is baffling.
Firman's spectacular grand illusions that have been recent TV highlights are performed on stage with his astonishing sleight of hand, live and close up.
His charismatic delivery has led to him being one of the most in demand magicians in the country, he has appeared on The John Bishop Show and this autumn will be appearing in The Next Great Magician, which sees the best tricksters and illusionists in the world competing to win the coveted title.
Firman has also written and performed in magic shows such as Monkey Magic on Channel 5, Dirty Tricks and Derren Brown's 3D Magic Spectacular on Channel 4 and The Secret World of Magic on Sky One.
Also the author of Tricks to Freak Out Your Friends, a beginners magic book for the 21st Century, he has performed on stage in the UK and internationally, including shows at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, which is by invitation only.
Trix comes to The Forum on Friday September 30, and tickets are available from the venue's box office.
