POP punk outfit Fight For Friday launch their debut single with a live performance in Barrow this week.

The young Furness outfit headline at The Derby on Friday June 23, ahead of the release of Neighbourhood Watch the following day.

The local show is one of their last outings before they head out on tour with shows in Sheffield, Liverpool and Leeds at the start of July.

Last year they released their second EP, Call Me Old Fashioned, while 2016 also saw them undertake their first mini-tour, playing as far afield as London and Cardiff, and also ticking off an appearance at Manchester Academy.

They have been playing as a four-piece since last autumn, with Seb Harper on guitar and vocals, Lloyd Scott-McCullough on lead guitar, Sol Barrow on bass, and Matt Grosvenor on drums.

A busy summer for the boys will see them play EskFest next month, with an appearance at DogFest also on the cards, having already starred at CiderFest, Helping The Homeless and the Equirocks events already this spring.

Singer-songwriter Billy Hogan will provide support for the evening, performing a set of acoustic covers.

The free show gets under way at 9pm.
