FUNK rockers Natterjack lead the line-up at The Derby on Friday July 14.

The Millom band are joined by Ulverston indie outfit The Twitchers and solo artist Mike May at the Dalton Road venue.

Natterjack have been together since 2015, and stand on the verge of releasing their debut EP.

The self-penned tracks feature in the live set, which has seen them receive plenty of acclaim at events such as The Dirty Dozen, in Millom, and The Derby's own EquiRocks festival.

Their uncategorisable mix of funk and progressive rock has also been a hit at recent shows alongside bands like Pariahs, in Lancaster, and their other summer engagements include the upcoming Rock the Fells and GrizeFest events.

Young four-piece The Twitchers are making the most of the summer break from university, and follow-up their previous visits home to headline Globestonbury and appear at Another Fine Fest.

They too perform original material, more influenced by indie rock acts such as Arctic Monkeys.

Singer-songwriter Mike May will be playing a set of stripped-back blues and rock numbers in the opening slot.

In recent years he has been a regular on the open mic and pub circuit, supporting the likes of The Hairy Buskers and appearing at events such as the Dickensian Festival and the Queens Arms Music Festival.

Music starts at 9pm and entrance is free.
