COMEDIAN, magician and CBBC star Christian Lee will bring his hit family theatre show to Cumbria this month.

Pop! comes to the Brewery Arts Centre, in Kendal, for two performances on Saturday February 11, at noon and 2.30pm.

With his faithful teddy bear and fantastic basket of tricks, Christian is all set for a lovely day at the seaside - until the day takes a turn and things don’t quite work out as planned.

Join the hapless hero in this totally word-free clown and magic show, described as "Mr Bean meets Charlie Chaplin", featuring illusion, comedy and a massive balloon.

Christian Lee is a talented and award-winning performer, who was a finalist of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, winner of the BBC One children's show The Slammer, and a grand finalist of Britain does Variety. Last year he was a semi-finalist on the most recent series of Britain's Got Talent.

His TV work has also included a starring role on Sky TV show Max Magic, idents for Harry Hill's TV Burp, and illustrations for BBC Panorama, with appearances in music videos by the Kaiser Chiefs and the Noisettes.

He regularly headlines at the UK's best-known comedy and theatre venues, wowing audiences with magic ranging from close up illusions to full stage shows.
