FOLLOWING on from 2017's sell-out months in advance, Kendal Calling Festival has announced tickets for next year's festival are now on sale.

Set in the picturesque Lake District and featuring a huge line-up, including headliners Stereophonics, Manic Street Preachers, Franz Ferdinand, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Tinie Tempah, Editors, Jake Bugg and Brian Wilson performing Pet Sounds, the multi award-winning festival sold out just a week after announcing.

For those who missed out on this year's tickets, Kendal Calling have announced that monthly payment plans are now available to save up and budget for the 2018 edition of the Lowther Park event.

These will be payment plan only tickets to take advantage of spreading the cost over 15 months rather than the normal 10 with full price tickets on sale later in the year as normal.

Now in its 12th year, the festival has grown from a two-day, 900 capacity event in 2006 to a 12,000 capacity three-day music festival with an extra night on the Thursday for selected campers.

Kendal Calling 2017 will take place from Thursday July 27 to Sunday 30.

The 2017 event has sold out but 2018 tickets are available now from the website
