ECCENTRIC Ulverston alt-rock band Sad-Eyed Puffins are set to launch their new EP with a hometown show next weekend.
The special event at the Laurel and Hardy Museum on Saturday April 1 will see them joined by three bands and two DJs to make it a full night of entertainment.
Sad-Eyed Puffins will be showcasing material from their brand-new Perpetual Spinach EP - their first release since 2015's debut, Our Very First EP.
The new tracks, recorded with new members in their ever-changing line-up, will sit alongside some of their older material as they play a full-length headline set.
West Yorkshire pop rockers Billy Billy 5p are also on the bill. It is a rare Cumbrian show from the Leeds-based band, who include former members of 90s Barrow outfit Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast in their line-up.
A well-established name closer to home, with a number of album and EP releases under their belts, the four-piece have a cult following for their off-the-wall melodic pop.
Completing the line-up of live performers will be eclectic progressive jazz band Valparaíso, who have played a handful of well-received live shows since forming earlier this year.
DJ sets come from The Prophets' frontman Ste Tyson, and Phil Johnson of The Degenerate Art Show.
Music runs from 8pm to 1am, and tickets are available on the door or can be purchased in advance from the Laurel and Hardy Museum.
