CUMBRIAN life is depicted in the latest exhibition at the Beach Hut Gallery.

Based at Kents Bank railway station, near Grange, the converted toilet block is a popular exhibition space that showcases artists from across the region.

The latest selection of works features pieces by Dawn Gabrielle Chandler, Kate Bentley, Rebecca Payn, Sally Toms and Beverley White and brings together an eclectic mix of ceramics, paintings and printmaking.

The showcase was Dawn's idea and she brought these five Lakes artists together for an exhibition that sheds light on different aspects of Cumbrian day-to-day life.

Founded in 2008, and an artists co-operative, the Beach Hut Gallery exhibits some of the finest art and craft in Cumbria.

Permanent artists include Fran Brown, Martin Copley, Judy Evans, Robin LeMare, and Laura Pendlebury.

The gallery hosts group and solo shows throughout the year, offering a fresh and unique experience of contemporary art in Cumbria.

The Cumbrian Life exhibition is on display now and runs until Sunday June 25. The Beach Hut Gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10.30am to 5pm.
