EDINBURGH Festival favourites The Noise Next Door will be coming to Cumbria next weekend as part of their latest UK tour.

The four-man comedy troupe calls in at the Beggar's Theatre, in Millom, on Saturday May 6 with their new show, Uproar.

Using suggestions made by the audience, the guys - Charlie Granville, Matt Grant, Tom Livingstone and Sam Pacelli - transform them into hilarious scenes and songs.

This means that every show is a unique performance and filled with their very distinct brand of off-the-cuff comedy.

Rated as the UK’s premier improv act, The Noise Next Door, have taken the comedy world by storm, and recently hit the road on their fourth nationwide tour.

Nine-time sell-out veterans of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and one of the most sought after headline acts on the comedy circuit, they leave audiences everywhere in awe of their lightning-quick wit and totally original comedic talents.

They have been performing comedy together since meeting at university, finely honing their perfect blend of ludicrous characters, witty one-liners, epic stories and explosive physicality.

Slimming down to a four-man outfit from five since their last visit to Millom, they continue to sell out shows across the country.

They appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Sketchorama, have performed alongside Harry Hill, Michael McIntyre, Al Murray and Jason Manford, and were the first international group to perform at FRACAS improv festival in California.

They were nominated for a Chortle Award in 2014, and are proud of having received standing ovations in front of corporate dinners, the British forces, secondary school students and even fans at Download heavy metal music festival.

The show in Millom on Saturday May 6 starts at 8pm, and tickets are available from the Beggar's Theatre box office.
