ULVERSTON'S biggest celebration of live music, street theatre and arts arrives on June 17 and 18, so all this week we're shining the spotlight on the must-see acts.

<font size=+1>Jamie Bosanko</font>

A regular at Another Fine Fest, Jamie has become one of the most respected performers on the Furness live scene over the past five years.

The former Magic Toyshop man, who has supported Ocean Colour Scene and The Wedding Present, will be featuring material from his full-length album, Echolocation, alongside older material and covers from artists such as REM, Neil Young, Tom Petty, James and Goo Goo Dolls.

<font size=+1>KITS</font>

The solo project of Sootytern's Jayson Turner, KITS has been a regular name in and around the Manchester scene for the past three years.

The Walney musician, who has an EP on the way later this year, uses his laptop combined with melodic vocals to create a synth-driven folktronica sound, which has found favour with BBC 6Music.

<font size=+1>Ava Grace</font>

Lakes-based multi-instrumentalist Ava Grace has been performing around the county and across the North West for the past five years.

The up-and-coming singer brings a contemporary yet richly soulful sound to throwback classics and original songs alike, in a style that is uniquely her own.

<font size=+1>Paddy Steer</font>

Having starred for Sonic Zoo with his headline set for Barrow Underground Music Society, the experimentalist is back by popular demand on their outdoor stage at Another Fine Fest.

The touring member of 808 State's outlandish live sets take in all manner of styles and genres, following the blueprint of his albums, that see him performing all the drums, clavinet, pianet, glockenspiel, percussion, timpani, banjo, double bass, bassoon, guitar, guitar synthesizer, bass, synth, violin, omnichord, and xylophone and vocals.

<font size=+1>Mark Pratt</font>

Barrow-born Leeds-based musician Mark recently released his self-titled debut album, showcasing his distinctive stripped-back acoustic blues.

Drawing influence from the early Delta blues days, as well as the modern indie and rock acts, he has been a stand-out performer at a number of festivals, and on his appearances at the Twang showcase nights - and he rounds out the live line-up for them here.
