JUNIOR sporting clubs or individuals can use this space to place their own notices. It’s your space, we invite you to use it for your needs.
All you have to do to include something on the notice board is post it to one of our Evening Mail offices or email juniorsport.em@cnmedia.co.uk
HAWCOAT Park under-sixes are looking for new players and a manager to take over the team. Training takes place on Sundays at Hawcoat Park between 10.30am and 11.30am for children in Year 1. The new manager – preferably a player’s parent – would be put through the FA Level 1 coaching badge and full CRB check. BARROW Celtic girls have teams at under-10s, under-11s, under-12s, under-13s, under-14s and under-16s and are open to new players. Training sessions take place every Wednesday at Furness Academy North Site, on Thorncliffe Road, Barrow. The under-10s to under-12s train between 6pm and 6.45pm, with the under-13s to under-16s, following between 6.45pm and 7.30pm. For more information, email barrowcelticgirls@googlemail.com
INDOOR disability football sessions are held every Tuesday in Dalton. The scheme, run by Barrow Borough Sports Council and Barrow AFC, is designed for young people with a disability. It takes place at DASH @ Dowdales, every Tuesday in term-time from 5pm to 6pm and costs £1 per person. Coaching is provided by the Barrow AFC community team. KANJI-DO Karate Club hold weekly sessions for juniors at Yarlside School, Barrow. Sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6pm until 7pm and 7pm until 8pm for different age groups. Anyone who would like to train is welcome to attend. For further details, call 07854 323360.

ULVERSTON Rangers JFC have started up two new age sections and are looking for new players for their under-sevens and under-eights. The teams will train once a week and also take part in local matches in the Barrow and District League. Under-sevens training takes place on Tuesdays from 5.30pm until 6.30pm at the Lakes Leisure Ulverston artificial pitch. HAWCOAT Storm RL under-eights are looking for new players. Training takes place on Fridays, between 5pm and 6pm at Hawcoat Park. Anyone in school Years 1, 2 or 3 can join in. For more details, contact Andy on 07764 181858.
ULVERSTON Hockey Club hold junior training sessions every week at Lakes Leisure Ulverston. Sessions for six to 12-year-olds take place on Mondays between 6pm and 7pm, with sessions for 12-year-olds and over on Thursdays between 7pm and 8.30pm.
