FURNESS can keep up with the Cumbria League leaders as they look to vanquish Cockermouth tomorrow.

Windermere can do the Blues a favour as they host leaders Upper Eden, while Hawcoat Park travel to Tarleton in desperate need of points.

FURNESS v COCKERMOUTH

(Strawberry Grounds, 2.15pm)

FURNESS are looking forward to only their fourth home game of the Cumbria League season as they welcome Cockermouth tomorrow.

The Blues have a healthy squad, boosted recently by the reformed A-team.

Furness will be looking to avenge their recent defeat on the road in the north of the county against tomorrow's opponents, a result which was only their second loss of the season.

The home pack is back to near full-strength, with props Dillan Taputu and Leon Sweet strengthening the front row.

James Tyson and Ryan Potgeiter will provide the grunt for the dynamic back row of skipper Corne Els and the Mallinson brothers, Joe and Will.

Sam Dutton links up with Adam Jackson in the half-backs, feeding the versatile and ever-dangerous Rhys Studt in the centres.

Ryan Cunningham returns from injury to take his place on the wing and will be hopeful of increasing his impressive scoring tally for the season.

A strong bench will give the Blues confidence in what will be a competitive game.

WINDERMERE v UPPER EDEN

(Dawes Meadow, 2.15pm)

CUMBRIA League leaders Upper Eden head to picturesque Dawes Meadow to face a home team looking for a third win from four on their own path this season.

Eden will be no pushovers, but Mere have a strong squad out, with skipper Jamie Hardman leading from the front, and Dan Harrison and Luke Todd close by in the front row.

Josh Dawson and Tadhg Butler will manage things from the second row, with the dynamic back row Johnny Benson, Conor Maher and Leon Surfontain looking to snaffle ball at the breakdown.

Dan Neild continues at scrum half alongside stand-off partner Bertie Hodgson, and they will need the forwards to be on top form so they can get clean ball out to centres Dave Oakley and Neil Piggot.

The back three has Tom Atkins and Moses Dawson out wide, with Jim Crawford at full-back, all looking to get their hands on the ball early to try to open up Eden's defence.

TARLETON v HAWCOAT PARK

NORTH Lancs/Cumbria basement side Hawcoat travel to Manchester to face a Tarleton team beaten only once on their own midden this term.

The Maroons need to start picking up points, and they have big Ryan Milner starting up front with Adam Grainger and the ever-present Andy Kent.

Ash Mowat returns and is alongside John Donnan in a powerful front five.

Joe Rea continues in the back row alongside Callum Ramsey and the excellent Alfie White.

Skipper Brad Morrow moves to scrum half and links the forwards and the backs with stand-off James Howden.

Will Coles and Robert Shephard are the wide men looking to finish moves off, while centre-field sees Chris Burns join Lewis Sayle in an exciting partnership, with George Smith bringing up the rear at full-back.

MILLOM v HAWCOAT PARK A

(Wilson Park, 2.15pm)

HAWCOAT Park A travel to face close friends Millom in a friendly.

They will be make the trip by train tomorrow lunchtime, so they can enjoy the hospitality at Wilson Park.

Paul Woodburn, Ryan Brown and Mark Hall make up a strong front-row, with Luke Shaw leading the engine room in the second row.

Harrison O'Brien and Tony Cockburn play in the back row, with Cockburn making his first appearance for the club.

Euan James and Joe Dalton fight it out for the fly-half berth, with Scott Garnett returning to his favoured scrum half role.

James Dallimore plays centre with skipper Dave Wynne, whose experience will be required.

Adam Armstrong and Jay Crowe play out wide, with Colin Wright at full-back.

Millom have not submitted a squad, as their seconds take on Keswick, but they will be strong.
