HAWCOAT Park hit the road aiming to build on their victory over Aldwinians when they face Trafford MV in North Lancs/Cumbria tomorrow.

Ambleside will hope to get a game on following a string of cancellations when they travel to Cockermouth.

Furness look to kickstart their campaign when they host fellow early strugglers Carlisle Crusaders, while Millom and Windermere host Whitehaven and Keswick respectively.

TRAFFORD MV v HAWCOAT PARK

The Maroons' first team are back on the road as they travel to Manchester, and last week's superb home win against Aldwinians gives them every confidence they can take the points.

Jason Priss, Adam Grainger and Ryan Milner take the front-row duties, with skipper Dan White moved back into the second row to partner Ash Mowatt. Will Mallinson keeps his back-row jersey and is joined by Callum Ramsey and Johnny Burrows.

Scrum half position sees the return of Sam Hilton to the fold after a lengthy spell away and he partners fly-half James Howden. Wide men Glenn Kaighan and Will Coles are more than capable of putting points on the board, with Chris Burns and Grady Slater inside.

HAWCOAT PARK A v CLITHEROE

(Hawcoat Park, 3pm)

PARK A host Clitheroe and have a number of regulars missing.

They are still able to call on a squad of 20 players, as Patrick Samiento returns, making up a big front row, with Ryan Brown, Tom Lavender and Liam Burns all in contention.

Rory Sayle will lead by example, with the likes of stalwarts Adam Williamson and Martin Heywood there to steady the ship.

Full Hawcoat debuts go to exciting young players Connor McDermott, Johnny Hutton and Brad Williamson. Dan Armitstead and Dave Whiteside will be a andful alongside regulars Jay Crowe, Dave Whynne and Rodney Odondi.

COCKERMOUTH A v AMBLESIDE

AMBLESIDE are having a rough ride at the moment ,with teams unable to raise a side and are cancelling week-in, week-out.

With all the hard work they have done in the past, they need to get the show on the road and help from the county to stop this happening.

They travel to Cockermouth in Cumbria One tomorrow – as long as they are not let down.

Ambleside are unchanged, with skipper Paul Longster leading from the second row alongside Andrew Clayton.

Jacob Taylor is champing at the bit to make his debut and will have fellow forwards Pip Houghton, Greg Machino and Rory Seekings for company.

Keenan Longster will link up with fly-half Matt Burrow as they look to open up the home defence, and get wing men Tim Horsfall and Rory Townsend away and over the whitewash.

Prop duo Paul Aires and Mike Gibson will be in the thick of it, clearing the ruck.

FURNESS v CARLISLE CRUSADERS

(Strawberry Grounds, 3pm)

FURNESS will be looking for their luck to change as the face a Carlisle Crusaders side who stand just above them at the bottom of the Cumbria League.

Last week saw a heavy home defeat to Keswick, but this is not the Furness fans will be familiar with.

Leading his team into battle will be Rhys Studt, who is always up for the challenge and, hopefully ,Dillon Tapatu and Paul Dean will be on hand to give the side get-up-and-go.

The back line could see Andy Brannon and the Humphries brothers, Rhys and Iestyn, with Tez Nueto out wide before he enters the world of international rugby league.

Cameron McClure is a must up front, but an injury to Corne Els may see him miss selection.

MILLOM v WHITEHAVEN

(Wilson Park, 3pm)

PICKING two teams at Millom is still a new thing, with the final selection for what promises to be a cracking home clash with Whitehaven still to be confirmed.

Tony Swales and Steve Watson should return to first-team duty, along with big Keiron Coulson and Joe Thomlinson. Ryan Carter will control things at fly-half, with Jordan Moyes and John Falconer running the ball up from the back line.

Dean Doyle and Kevin Rogan will be needed at the breakdown, along with captain Ian Cummings, who is always on hand to lend a hand.

Powerful-running Jarty Robinson and Steven Forster can score at will, and Joe Laydon, Adam Redhead and Matty Jordan are always dangerous in the back row.

WINDERMERE v KESWICK

(Dawes Meadow, 3pm)

DAN Harrison will be in front-row action for Mere, hopefully be joined by Jamie Hardman and Leigh Todd as they face the might of Keswick.

The big second-row duo of Johnny Benson and a Tadhg Butler are a powerful combination and, with Matt Powell, John Sheasby and maybe Joe Turner making up the pack, the Amber and Blacks go strong in the front eight.

Dan Neild will be hoping for a fully-fit Bertie Hodgeson, with brother Rory outside him, to get the back line running at full tilt.

Jack Holmes, Sam James and Andy Duncan look likely to make up the side and should make life hard for their opponents.
