HAWCOAT Park first and second teams hit the road tomorrow hoping to pull off an away-day double.

Millom and Windermere are also on their travels, while Ambleside enjoy home comforts against Wigton.

De La Salle v Hawcoat Park

IT is testament to how far Hawcoat Park have progressed as a club that, despite having a big player shortage due to a wedding, they can still put out two strong teams.

The first team travel to De La Salle in North Lancs/ Cumbria, with big Paul Woodburn stepping up at prop. He joins the experience of Andy Kent and John Donnan in a strong front three.

Skipper on the day Will Mallinson will be joined in the second row by another second-teamer in Rory Sayle, who has been playing well of late. The back row sees a complete change of personnel, with A-teamers Matthew Robson and Joe Rea moving up to join front-rower Jason Priss.

Anthony Munday takes up the role of scrum half and will link up with George Smith at fly-half.

Out wide, Will Coles has Rodney Odandi on the other wing, who is more than capable of putting points on the board. Inside the pacemen will be Grady Slater and the returning Dan Vial in what looks like a robust pairing, with Lewis Sayle at full-back.

Rossendale v Hawcoat Park A

HAWCOAT Park A head to Rossendale hoping to gain points in the Raging Bull League.

Adam Williamson and Dave Wynne will be leading by example from scrum half and the centre berth.

Stalwarts Ryan Brown and Dave Gallagher will take on all-comers in the pack and will have Peter Steele on hand to help out in the loose.

Jay Crowe will stiffen things up in the back line, as will the ball-handling Euan James and the strong-running Harrison O’Brien.

The return of Charlie Butterworth is a big lift for the side and his presence in the forwards, along with Ethan Vial, Jordan Garnett and Conor Young, will be an immense bonus to the team.

With Will Martin and Dan Hayes looking to break the opposition line and Richard Dalton and Mark Woodburn hopefully available, the side has strength in depth.

Ambleside v Wigton

(Galava Park, 3pm)

GALAVA Park sees action tomorrow as Ambleside take on Wigton.

Paul Longster and his troops will be looking for a result as the Cumbria League Two season comes to a halt.

They are unchanged again and, as such, Mike Blakeston, Mike Gibson and Gregg Stevenson take up the front-row mantle.

Skipper Longster will be joined in the second row by Jacob Taylor and will have the trio of Pip Houghton, Greg Machino and Cyrill Lathes on hand to get to the breakdowns and win ball.

Peter Holgate at fly-half will look for some good ball from scrum half Keenan Longster and his forwards so he can bring the strong running of Matt Middlemiss and Steven Matthews into play.

Lewis Kelly will need to control the game in front of him as Ambleside look to consolidate in the division.

Keswick v Millom

MILLOM’S last game of the Cumbria League season sees them travel north to face champions Keswick.

It will be a tough day out for the Wilson Park side. Ian Cummings’ squad have been playing well of late and he will be looking for more of the same from his troops.

Kevin and Kieran Rogan join Cummings in the front three, which looks strong from the off, with a big second-row pairing of Callum Loughran and Keiron Coulson pushing them on.

Steve Watson moves from the front three to make up the back row alongside James Wilson and Trevor Dixon.

Chris Parks links up with Si Robertson in the half-backs, with Ryan Carter and Stephen Forster running the show from centre.

Alex Peel at full-back will be looking for support from his wingmen Mikey Jordan and Joe Fisher as he goes in pursuit of points.

Cockermouth v Windermere

WINDERMERE head to Cockermouth hoping to put in a strong performance against one of the top sides in the Cumbria League.

Captain Jamie Hardman will lead by example and will have Dan Harrison and Luke Todd alongside him.

The engine room sees Johnny Benson and Taghd Butler re-acquainted as the two powerhouses look to steady the ship in the second row.

Connor and Paul Maher are joined by Joe Hallam in the back row with Dan Neild hopefully returning at scrum half. The back division will be led by Bertie Hodgson at stand-off, with the men out wide Moses Dawson and Lewis Horrax looking for plenty of ball to get points on the board.

Andy Duncan at full-back will look to join the line from full-back, with centres Josh Wheatly and Jamie Dootson always looking for opportunities to score.
