The final game of the campaign sees the Maroon and Whites second string aiming to finish on a high, following last weekend’s 48-15 defeat away to Leigh thirds.
Hawcoat’s ‘Mr Reliable’, Ryan Brown, will lead from the front row, with Paul Woodburn on his shoulder at all times. The hooking role is still to be decided, but Joe Rea could step up or Mark Hall move to prop with Brown going to hooker.
The second row will be contested by skipper Martin Kennedy, Mark Woodburn and Rory Sayle, if available. Hall could be the wild card there, if he is not selected in the front three.
Conor Vetes Young is back in the back row and will be joined by Harrison O’Brien and, more than likely, Rea, with the pack showing great adaptability being able to shuffle where required.
Scrum half has stalwart Adam Williamson at its helm and sees him link up with fly-half Euan James, where the pairing will aim to take the game by the horns.
There is a dynamic feel to the back line, with Robert Shepherd and Dave Wynne in the centres, and Will Martin out wide on one wing.
The other wing will have either Dan Hayes, Jay Crowe or Will Coles in charge, although there will be a late fitness test on Wynne, which could see Crowe take up his place if required.
Lewis Sayle returns from injury at full-back in what will bring to a close a very successful first season back in the Raging Bull League set-up.
