FURNESS take their winning home form on the road to Egremont tomorrow, as do Millom when they head to Carlisle.

Hawcoat Park seek face a tough home game against Aspatria, with their A-team thankful for Ambleside help as they go to Clitheroe.

EGREMONT v FURNESS

AFTER two great wins at home against Cockermouth in the Cumbria League and League Cup, Furness are on the road to play Egremont.

Skipper Rhys Studt will rally the team as they look to climbing the table.

There are a few changes, with the likes of Tez Nueto and Russ Birch unavailable.

The backs see massive changes, with back-row duo skipper Studt and Joe Mallinson in the centres.

Ryan Cunningham returns to the wing and Alex Brown is at full-back.

Adam Nicholson continues at stand-off, and will join scrum half Jordan Ashton.

The front row stays unchanged, with Paul Dean and Leon Sweet, and second-row enforcers James Tyson and Martin Ward are always on hand.

The back row looks strong, as the returning Tom Brannon joins old head Craig McKinnon and stalwart Corne Els. They need to be on top form to break down the opposition.

CARLISLE CRUSADERS v MILLOM

MILLOM go to Carlisle in the Cumbria League with a strong team.

Skipper Ian Cimmings will lead from the front, and could be joined by Trevor Dixon, Steve Watson or Keiran Coulson – though the latter is more likely to fit into the second row with Joseph Tomlinson.

The back row will look dynamic, with Adam Redhead leading the way alongside James Wilson, David Thompson or Joseph Laydon, with one of the three joining the back division.

Chris Park can pick his role at either scrum half or stand-off, with the utility player happy to fill in where required.

The men out wide will be looking to get on the end of everything, with Si Robertson and Mikey Holmes holding court.

Matty Jordan controls centre field, but who is set to join him is yet to be decided.

Dean Doyle, Callum Loughran and Kyle Barnes will be warming the bench unless one of the group is called into the starting line-up.

HAWCOAT PARK v ASPATRIA

(Hawcoat Park, 2.15pm)

THE Maroon and Whiteshave big selection issues as a stag party takes its toll for their North Lancs/Cumbria clash.

The strength-in-depth at the club will be called on, with positions filled by A-teamers.

The front row sees the first change, with A-team stalwart Paul Woodburn stepping into the fold to partner two of John Donnan, Ryan Milner and Andy Kent. One of the three will come into the second row with Chris Thompson.

Will Mallinson will see Jack Sutherland alongside him, with either Tim Clarke or Matt Robson stepping up from the second string after some great performances.

The backs have more stability, as young Jack Shannon continues at scrum half, linking up with James Howden at stand-off.

There is an unfamiliar pairing of Elliot McDermott and George Smith in the centres, who will have a tough outing but are more than capable of holding their own in defence and attack.

Will Coles keeps his shirt on one wing, with selection to be confirmed on the other wing and Lewis Sayle at full-back, in a role he is looking to make his own.

CLITHEROE A v HAWCOAT PARK A

THE knock-on effect from the Hawcoat first team can be seen in their second-string.

With injuries having an effect as well, a few strings have been pulled to get a full squad on the road.

Close relationships with Ambleside see the Lakes side throw their hat into the ring, sending four players to help fill the gaps.

There are still a good number of regulars playing in what could turn out to be a very strong Hawcoat Barbarians side of sorts.

Ryan Brown and Jordan Garnett will be joined by Ambleside front man Mike Gibson, and they will be pushed on by Martin Kennedy and big Mark Hall, which looks a strong partnership.

Former player Pete Steele will meet the squad there as he travels from his residence in the Blackpool area.

He will be joined in the back row by Ambleside’s Liam Salisbury and Charlie Butterworth, who has been playing well as of late.

Scott Garnett continues at scrum half and could be linking up with Ambleside's Matthew Middlemiss.

The backs have Jay Crowe and Dave Wynne, along with Ambleside’s Alfie White.

Dan Armitstead will be on one wing looking to get into action from the off, with regular Rodney Odondi on the other.

Robert Shepherd available from his work shifts and will keep either full-back or wing under his arm with his silky running skills.
