Who will rule the roost?
“THE usual ones will be up there – Leeds, St Helens, Warrington and Wigan – but I feel they’ll be pushed by Hull and my surprise team London.“WARRINGTON will take some beating, but they need the likes of Lee Briers and Michael Monaghan on the field, they make them tick.“HULL could be the surprise team. They have recruited well, especially in Gareth Ellis, and will be stronger all round. St Helens will be a threat as they have youth and experience and a good signing in Willie Manu. Leeds are a good all-round team along with Warrington. They’ll both be there when it matters. I feel Leeds will reach the Grand Final once more.”“IT’S going to be tough season but St Helens are going to be up there, although I am a Wigan fan. They have good halves in Lee Gaskell and Jonny Lomax and new lads in Willie Manu and Jordan Turner.“I’M not a big lover of Super League but I do take an interest when the play-offs begin. It’s time for relegation and promotion to come back to create more interest.“ST Helens could be the team this year. They have a good coach in Nathan Brown who will bring in more discipline and sharpness to the team. They play exciting, open rugby with good leadership in James Roby.“WARRINGTON will be the top side while it’s time for Hull to step up to the plate. They have invested a lot of money, with the likes of Gareth Ellis now on board.“THE top sides will be there once more competing. St Helens are a good bet to go all the way with Nathan Brown in charge.
