Cents, who go into the game on the back of a hefty 72-6 victory over Wath Brow A, welcome back Brad Nicholls, Liam Finch and Dave Warne.
However, the Elliott brothers – Mike and Matt – are rated extremely doubtful, with Mike having a slim chance of making the squad.
Victory for Cents will see them leap-frog Barrow Island into second place on points difference as they push hard to topple Distington off the top of the ladder ahead of their clash at Central Drive a week on Saturday.
Ulverston coach Phil Atkinson welcomes back Joe Hambley, Marc Saunders and Marc Dixon into his squad, but possibly missing out are Matty and Marc Storey along with Mike Reekes, while Liam High has a better chance of passing a fitness test.
Said Atkinson: “We had a under-strength side at Distington and our lads did their best against the best side in this division.
“Distington are a quality side both in attack and defence but the lads battled away. Walney will be another tough one. They have been up at the top of the league for the last three years but we will give them a game.
“Who knows how the result will go? It is a local derby game and anything goes. We will give it our best shot.”
