BRAD Singleton faces up to an eight-match ban after being charged over an incident in Leeds Rhinos' Super League win over Catalans Dragons on Saturday.
The Barrow Island prop was cited for striking with the elbow – a Grad E offence which carries with it a four to eight-game ban if he is found guilty.
Video footage appears to show Singleton hitting Catalans' Greg Bird on the back of the head/neck in an off-the-ball incident during Leeds' 46-10 triumph at Headingley. Bird needed stitches and did not return for the second half.
The incident was not seen by referee James Child but it was put on report and will go before the Rugby Football League disciplinary panel tomorrow.
