THE Tigers travelled with only 13 players and went in at the break 12-0 up, going on to lead 20-18 before the home side edged clear.
At 22-20 Hindpool had the opportunity to draw level with what would have been a simple shot at goal. However, choosing to go for broke, they failed to cross the home side’s line and Pats recovered to go upfield and cross for a game-changing try.
Try-scorers for the Tigers were Lee Boyd, 2, Paul Rickleton and Chris Archer, with Grant Burns adding two goals.
