The scheduled matches between Barrow Island and Maryport, Distington and Ulverston and Roose Pioneers against Glasson were postponed, and in the only game played in the competition, Walney travelled to the west of the county and won 22-16 at Ellenborough.
Cents had built up a 16-4 half-time lead and held out for a good win, with their tries coming from Liam Finch, 2, Jake Devereux and Jamie Morrow, plus three goals from the boot of Brad Nicholls.
Of the three games postponed due to lack of players the points were awarded to Barrow Island, Distington and Roose Pioneers.
Barrow Island and Walney remain second and third in the table on 14 points, six behind leaders Distington, with Cents having two games in hand on Barrow Island, who they meet in what should be a cracker at Rating Lane this weekend.
In the National Conference second division Askam brought the points back from Stanningley Rangers, nilling the home side while running in 42 points.
Jack Cairns was in top form with a hat-trick plus four conversions, while other tries came from Tom Askew, 2, Russ Bolton, Joe Satterthwaite and Tom Hopkins.
Thornhill Trojans, who were 43-22 winners at Askam last week, became the first team to lower the colours of leaders Hunslet Club Parkside winning 22-20, Parkside having won 13 consecutive games beforehand.
Millom came out second best at Hunslet Warriors, losing 12-6, and in the Barrow And District League Barrow Island were 44-22 winners at Dalton.
