ASKAM and Millom have both been handed home draws in the second round of this year’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

The Villagers, who began Dave Clark’s second spell as head coach with a 32-16 win over York Acorn in the first round last Saturday, will welcome West Hull to Fallowfield Park.

The National League Conference Premier Division outfit defeated Irish side Longhorns RL 58-10 in their first-round tie on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Millom’s reward for a 36-18 victory over Strathmore Silverbacks is a clash with Bradford Dudley Hill at Devonshire Road.

Dudley Hill, who are in the NCL Division One, won on the road in the first round too, seeing off the challenge of Loughborough University with a 38-4 triumph. There were also home draws for fellow Cumbrian sides Kells and Distington, who face Orrell St James and Lock Lane respectively, while Wath Brow Hornets travel to Hunslet Club Parkside.

The ties will be played over the weekend of February 10 and 11, with one of the matches due to be selected for live streaming by the BBC via their BBC Sport website.
