BARROW Island's Morgan Burgess will pull on the national jersey to represent England Youth for a two-Test series in France.

The Warrington Wolves Academy player is part of a 22-man squad who will cross the channel next month.

Burgess and his squad-mates – selected by head coach Danny Wilson – face the French in Perpignan on Friday, July 13 and Monday, July 16.

They will leave for the tour on July 9, with three days of training ahead of the opening Test.

Burgess, who signed his first professional contract with the Wolves last month, is one of four Warrington players in the squad, which also includes a quintet from Wigan Warriors and three from Bradford Bulls.

Castleford Tigers, Leeds Rhinos and City of Hull Academy each have two representatives in the side, with one player from each of Wakefield Trinity, Huddersfield Giants, Newcastle Thunder and St Helens selected.
