ASKAM take on Ulverston in the Barrow and District League Top-Four Play-offs final looking to make it a clean sweep of trophies.

The sides meet in the Mike Marsh Contractor final at Craven Park tonight, with Askam having already won the league, KO Cup and Harry Warman Trophy (7pm kick-off).

Ulverston will be without the experienced Marc Dixon, who is on holiday, but they have potential match-winners in Duane 'Dinger' Bell and hard-working under-19s county forward Josh Rankine.

If Ulverston can produce the form of their of CJS Cars KO final and combine it with their never-say-die attitude, then it could be a tight game.

Red hot favourites Askam have match-winners all over the park.

The Villagers have a big pack, well led by Dave Finlayson, with pace in the three-quarters from Brad Jackson and Chris Vanstone, who should be to the fore.

After this final the presentations of the winners of the Barrow and District Mark Coward Player-of-the-year, as well as the Rob Livesey and Phil Kyte trophies, will be made in the Raiders Bar.

The Top-Four Cup and the man-of-the-match award from the final will also be handed out.

On Sunday, September 11, Cumbria Under-19s take on Scotland at Maryport.

The under-19s squad will not be finalised until after the last training session on Wednesday which at Millom.
