The Blues’ machine is back up and running in Cumbria Two as Furness take on Egremont at the Strawberry Ground tomorrow (3pm kick off).
There are a few new faces in the squad, although skipper Corne Els is a big loss this week with injury issues.
Regulars from last season, Ben Hughes and Cameron Mclure, will likely start in the front three, with stalwarts Will Mallinson and Rhys Studt never far from the action.
The Humprey brothers, Iestyn and Rhys, go to university soon but their all-round play is a big bonus for the side this week.
Jordan Ashton and Jack Budgeon will tough it out for the scrum-half shirt, and Tony Cockburn returns to the side hoping for plenty of game time along with the strong-running Kieran Mason and Andrew Brannon.
Will Hetherington’s pace could be key, with new additions William Crook, Daniel Scott, Danny Speers, Alex Ryan, Dave Gilmour and Sam Wicks pulling on a Furness jersey as well.
Elsewhere, Windermere are away to Aspatria.
