HAWCOAT Park hope the New Year will bring a change in fortunes as they look to drag themselves away from the foot of the North Lancs/Cumbria League.

The Maroon and Whites face Fleetwood at home, but there are no games for Furness and Millom in the Cumbria League.

Hawcoat Park v Fleetwood

(2.15pm kick-off)

PARK will be hoping for an upturn in form and results in the second half of the season – starting with tomorrow’s home game against mid-table Fleetwood.

Skipper Brad Morrow will be rallying the troops from wing forward, and he will join Callum Ramsey and Alfie White in a dynamic pack.

Ash Mowat will want to up his game and has Grady Slater for support in the engine room, with the front three of John Donnan, Adam Grainger and Andy Kent looking to start the ball rolling from the front three.

Jonny Burrows continues at scrum half and links up with regular fly-half James Howden in looking to get the backs on the front foot with good ball from the forwards.

George Smith and Chris Burns are the centre partnership, with Will Coles and Rodney Odandi out wide looking for good early ball and the chance to get the team on the scoreboard in a big home game for Park.

Rochdale v Hawcoat Park A

HAWCOAT A start the second half of the campaign at Rochdale as they look to move up to second place in the North West Intermediate Division Four table.

The Park squad looks strong but that does not get away from the fact that this will be a tough match.

Ryan Brown and Mark Hall will be in the front three with the hooker role to be confirmed.

Captain Martin Kennedy is in the second row and could be joined by Matt Robson or Luke Shaw, if available.

Peter Jennens will control the back row, alongside Harry Higgins and Joe Rea, who are improving all the time.

Adam Williamson and Scott Garnett will scrap it out for the number nine shirt, with Joe Dalton at stand-off.

Dave Wynne, Connor McDermott and James Dallimore will control the back division, with Colin Wright bringing up the rear at full-back.

Wingmen Jay Crowe and naked Dan Hayes take the wide roles, with Adam Armstrong on hand to take the ball up.
