RALLY ace Aaron McClure aims to build on the experiences of 2015 as he shoots for title success this year.

The 21-year-old, from Flookburgh, has been boosted by a renewed sponsorship deal from All Floors Express as he targets strong performances in the BTRDA Production Cup.

McClure tackled the N4 class in the competition last year, as he was forced to take a change of tack due to the cancellation of the British Championship.

While it was a steep learning curve for the young driver, he did enough to impress his main sponsors, with the nationwide carpet retailers coming back on board in the renewal of a deal which was due to expire last year.

His debut season in a four-wheel drive Mitsubishi E9 has put down the basis for this year’s assault on the BTRDA Production Cup and he is looking to build on the impressive pace he showed throughout the year. Despite two event-ending rolls, he still finished the year third in the championship standings and believes he has unfinished business in the series.

McClure said: “All Floors is a name synonymous with my rallying career and I really could not have progressed as far as I have without them.

“I’m overjoyed that they have put their faith in me once again this year and I really hope to reward them with the Production Cup title this time around. They have been with us through thick and thin so it’s time to repay their loyalty.”

All Floors Express managing director Martin Johnston is pleased to renew the company’s support of of McClure, and said:. “Aaron really is a popular rally driver in the UK and the perfect ambassador of our brand.

“We are proud to be associated with him once again in 2016 and wish him all the best for the 2016 season.”
