BARROW motocross ace Dee Jay Walker is back in action again this weekend in the first round of the ACU British Youth National Championship on the Culham track near Oxford.
Having broken his wrist just four weeks ago on the Finningley track near Doncaster, while testing his new 250 Husqvarna supplied by the Chambers Motorcycle Group, the plucky youngster tested his injury out last weekend on the Preston Docks track.
Although fully strapped up, the injury coped well with the rigours of motocross, so Walker felt confident about competing in the nationals.
A serious shoulder injury cut short a successful season last year, so it is hoped Walker remains injury-free this year and bring home some trophies.
