HINDPOOL Tigers' under-sevens enjoyed the opportunity to take on teams from all over the country when they entered the Leeds Rhinos Challenge at Butlin's in Skegness.

The squad were the only team from Cumbria to be taking part in the event, which features over 150 teams and 6,000 players participating across the various age groups.

Hindpool finished with a record of seven wins and one draw from eight games, with coaches Graham Shaw and Martin Kennedy and their parents all very proud of their efforts.

Each player received a medal and the team were presented with a trophy too. The Tigers squad was: Pharrell Comish, Walker Sharp, Evan Noden, Connor Morgan, Kayden Green, Caleb Armstrong, Harry Shaw and Byron Bull.
