HARRY Bateman, Danny Macdonald, and Josh Howarth were standout performers as Soccer Bar beat the Labour Club in the Barrow Monday League.

The Supporters Club were 4-2 victors, with Pete Miller and Gav Clark in great form to take the points for the visitors.

The home team were also in form on the dart board, with a 7-2 triumph, though the best individual display came from Labour Club's Clark, who checked out in 24 darts with a 140 and a ton.

Soccer Bar won the crib 3-0, but the other three table games went to the away side.

Greengate were 4-2 snooker victors on the green baize at the British Legion.

Paul Deelay, Tony Richards, Gary and Tommy Barbour carried them to success. Alf Carruthers and Ray White took good points for the Legion.

There was a convincing 8-1 win for the Greengate at darts, while Legion took the don 2-1. The other three table games went the way of the hosts.

At the Cottages, the home side were 4-2 winners at snooker over West Shore.

Mattie Hill hit a fine 59 break and Adam Cook had a 27 clearance to win his game for the hosts. Paul Fieldhouse and Wayne Baxendale also had victories.

Jonnie Richardson beat Alan Eaton by one point and Steve Scott claimed the other West Shore success.

The Walney team were 5-4 victors in the darts. Len Irvine (2x125, 100, 85) was on form, while Neil Knight hit a maximum 180 in defeat to Alan Butterworth.

West Shore took also took all four table games.
