AND THEY' RE OFF The start of the Glaxo Hoad Hill Harriers Summer 10k LEANNE BOLGER
GLAXO Hoad Hill Harriers are hoping for a bumper entry for their 30th annual Autumn 5k road race.
Following the success of the club's 30th anniversary Summer 10k earlier this month, Harriers chiefs are gearing up for another well-attended event.
The race, which follows a quick and fast course through the streets of Ulverston, takes place on Wednesday September 7.
Registration takes place from 5.30pm, with the fun run starting at 6.15pm and the 5k road race at 6.45pm. For details of how to enter go to www.hoadhillharriers.co.uk
A big entry of 150 runners took part in the Summer 10k, with Keswick AC's Marc Brown winning in 31 minutes and 45 seconds.
